Issue 9

Notes on this Issue:

I edit these ‘Issues’ at Stardust
In that little wooden booth
The one everyone tries to snag first
I’m editing right now, I’m very tired
Sometimes drinking helps me sleep
But right now it’s making me manic
I try so hard at times
But I can’t sleep
I can’t stop writing either
I want to stop writing, I want to sleep
Instead I end up here, at Stardust
With the horrible wifi
The wifi is so bad, I like it
I don’t think the people here like me
At times, I like this too
But sometimes it makes me sad
Like I’m not in the ‘clique’
But that’s okay, their wifi is shit
Aside from that, their hummus is great
I’m waiting on an order right now
The longer I wait for the hummus
The tastier it becomes;
I want you all to convince me
I’m a bad writer
Send me poems that make me insecure
So I’ll sleep less, write more
And come here for more hummus
