do not say more when you can say less.


You’ll bore us and the audience—making us all winded and ready to give you praise just for us to relieve ourselves.

Do not say more when you can say less,


but you can repeat yourself and, sometimes, maybe should.
If you go on too long, consider writing a short story or journaling instead. Don’t disrespect the poem with burdensome heaps of extravagance.
