Emyr Payne is a nurse by day, writer by night. His work has appeared in The Journal, Underbelly Press, Apoetical, The Scumrag, Bel Esprit, Blood+Honey, Bull and Crying Heart Press, amongst others. His debut novel, 50 Reasons to Live is due to be published in late 2026 with Barnard Press. Also a photographer, his pictures have been included in various publications and group exhibitions.
