Issue 11

Published in: Winter Park, FL

Notes on this Issue:

Well, folks…

I’ve had enough of this swampy, Mickey-Mouse-loving, lake-land, land-locked, low-latitude, wannabe big town. It’s been good, it’s been bad—just like your poetry— and I’ll miss you all. I won’t miss it here. It’s finally time I leave.

I’m moving to Philadelphia and I’m taking this damned thing with me. Thank you to every contributing writer. Thank you to every reader. Thank you to everyone that helped edit, print, fold, staple and distribute these things. Thank you to everyone that submitted several times despite being rejected, but shame on those that never built up the confidence to submit in the first place.

As I’ve said before, Verses From the Underground is intended to give a platform for those that crawl around, day-to-day, in the lonely, loving, and questionably-legal underground (by choice). This has been our goal and it will continue to be—just not here.

I wish you all the best. Please continue to submit. God bless you all.

With love,
W.B
