Notes on this Issue:
Poetry Bro /ˈpōətrē brō/
(noun, informal)
1. A young male poet, typically moody and aloof with a large sense of self-righteousness that seeks validation, praise and admiration for his heavily romantic, lonely and critical verse.
2. A young male poet that consumes an excessive amount of Charles Bukowski content on Instagram.
3. A young male poet that intentionally enters and maintains unhealthy relationships for the sake of writing poems about it;
4. A young male poet that has wet dreams about Jack Kerouac.
Ex. Why does that guy come out every Friday night with a notebook, sit in the corner and silently judge everyone having a good. time at this café. He’s such a poetry bro.
This issue is dedicated to all the poetry bros I know.
May God help you and have mercy on the girls that fall in love with your superficial mysteriousness and mild to extreme narcissistic tendencies.
